Hey, everyone! I know we've been pretty quiet lately, what with midterms and Spring Break, but I'm back! It's starting to warm up here, in Missouri, and it's starting to bloom again. I tend to get stuck on florals about this time of year. I look at pictures of flowers, I try to wear floral colors and motifs, I work flowers into pretty much everything that I make at this time.

Color trends veer into pastels for this lovely, rain-glistening time of year, but I always envision slightly more saturated hues when I think about springtime. The roses and tulips bloom in crimson reds, irises blossom in deep denim blues and softer lilacs, daffodils shock with yellows, crocuses bleed vibrant violets, and the magnolias blush in pink. So, what can you expect from me over the spring? More jewelry! As the weather turns warmer, I tend to make more earrings, bracelets, and necklaces to celebrate short sleeves and pulled-back hair.

Keep your eyes peeled for new designs soon, I'm hoping to post something in the next week or so! I hope it is warm where you are and that the colors start to bloom for you soon! ~The Phoenix
